Anthony Boyle

Anthony Boyle is one of the actors I am most excited to follow right now. Born in Belfast and trained at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, he announced himself by originating Scorpius Malfoy in Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and walking off with the 2017 Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role. Stage-forged performers rarely fake it, and I love that hard-earned discipline. He is clearly on the verge of a major screen breakout, and the fact that he keeps his Northern Irish accent front and center only adds to his appeal. I expect surprising roles from him for years.
