Connor Swindells

Connor Swindells is one of the more exciting young actors to watch right now. His Adam Groff in Sex Education was a masterclass in playing a boy who is both menacing and heartbreakingly fragile, and he's since proven he can swing from wartime grit in SAS: Rogue Heroes to the candy gloss of Barbie. That range, this early, is unusual. What I find compelling is the danger he carries on screen, a coiled quality that keeps you uncertain. He hasn't settled into a type yet, and that restless, hungry phase is exactly when an actor is most interesting to follow.
