My Take

Dave Legeno is one of those character actors whose face you know even if the name doesn't register. A Londoner born in 1963 with a background in boxing, mixed martial arts and wrestling, he brought real physicality to his roles, most memorably the werewolf Fenrir Greyback in the Harry Potter films. That combat pedigree is exactly why he was so convincing as a menacing presence. His death in 2014, reportedly while hiking in Death Valley, was a genuinely sad and untimely loss at 50. I find his career a good example of how a fighter's discipline can translate into screen credibility, and he left a small but memorable mark.
