Justin Fletcher

Justin Fletcher is the kind of performer I admire most: the one who chooses to matter rather than to dazzle. Anchoring CBeebies for years and, crucially, building a show around children with special educational needs is genuinely selfless work, and the MBE feels less like a vanity honor than a nation acknowledging someone who quietly enriched a generation of kids. Slapstick aimed at small audiences rarely earns critical glory, yet it demands real craft and even greater patience. I find his career deeply moving precisely because it trades spotlight for service, and that, to me, is the harder and worthier path.
