Kim Yong-ji

Kim Yong-ji caught my attention through Tale of the Nine Tailed, where she balanced an eerie, otherworldly quality with real vulnerability. Debuting in the lavish period drama Mr. Sunshine in 2018 is no small thing; heavy historical productions tend to test young actors, and being trusted with such roles early signals genuine ability. What I find promising is the composure she brings to the screen even in supporting parts. She strikes me as an actor still climbing, with a grounded presence that suggests bigger lead roles ahead. I am curious to see how far her range stretches in the coming years.
