Lee David

Lee David is the South Korean talent I'm watching most closely right now. Born in Incheon in 1994, he carries a maturity well beyond his years, having moved from acclaimed films like Poetry and The Front Line to buzzy hits like Itaewon Class and the latest Squid Game. What draws me in is that he's a chameleon, not a poster face; he dissolves into roles with the deep toolbox of a former child actor and a remarkable command of subtle expression. I suspect bigger international roles are coming, and when they arrive, I doubt anyone will be surprised. Keep an eye on him.
