My Take

Moon Seon-min is a winger I have a lot of time for, partly because he is a quiet trailblazer. He became the first South Korean footballer to play in Sweden's Allsvenskan, which takes a certain courage to go and prove yourself in an unfamiliar league. Back home with FC Seoul and earning South Korea caps, his game is built on pace and directness down the flank. I always enjoy players who back themselves to take the unconventional route abroad, and his Scandinavian chapter clearly sharpened him. He is the sort of industrious, willing winger that good teams quietly rely on.
