Ryu Kyung-soo

Ryu Kyung-soo is an actor I am quietly betting on. Born in rural Cheongsong County, he first caught my eye through his vivid supporting turn in Itaewon Class, the kind of scene-stealing texture you cannot fake. With roles in Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938 and Our Unwritten Seoul, he is steadily compounding trust rather than chasing flashy stardom. I read him as a character actor who competes on range, not noise, and there is a Libran balance in how he seems to read and blend into any set. These understated but dependable performers are exactly the ones I like to follow over the long haul.
