My Take

What fascinates me about Yoo In-soo is how completely he disappeared into the loathsome bully Gwi-nam in All of Us Are Dead. Making an audience hate you that intensely is, paradoxically, a sign of real craft. Then he pivoted to Alchemy of Souls and showed an entirely different texture. Born in 1998 in Cheonan, he is still early in his career, yet he already commits to roles without vanity. Actors who break through as villains often blossom later in tender, complex parts, and I genuinely expect that arc from him. He is one of the young Korean talents I am quietly betting on.
