Zoie Palmer

Zoie Palmer is an actor I happily champion. British-born and Canadian-raised, educated at York University, she found her footing in genre television where world-building matters most. I was won over by her Dr. Lauren Lewis in the supernatural drama Lost Girl and especially her turn as the Android in Dark Matter, where she took a role built on suppressed emotion and somehow made it brim with humanity. That is harder than it looks. She seems to me the kind of performer who shines brightest in richly imagined material rather than blockbuster spectacle, rewarding viewers who lean in. A genuine talent worth savoring, and one I will keep following with interest.
