My Take

Antony Costa is Blue through and through, and I respect that he's never pretended otherwise. As one quarter of the British boy band, he was part of a run of hits that defined early-2000s UK pop, and he's stayed loyal to that legacy through every reunion. What I like is that he didn't just coast, he branched into acting and kept writing songs as a singer-songwriter. Boy band members often get written off once the screaming stops, but the ones who keep working, who treat it as a craft rather than a phase, earn my admiration. Costa strikes me as that type, a grafter who knows exactly who he is and isn't embarrassed by it.
