Calum Scott

Calum Scott is proof that talent-show origins say nothing about an artist's depth. When he covered Robyn's "Dancing on My Own" on Britain's Got Talent in 2015 and drew a Golden Buzzer from Simon Cowell, it wasn't gimmickry, it was a genuinely fragile, soulful voice cutting through. What I respect is that he turned a viral moment into a real songwriting career rather than a flash in the pan. From Hull to a global audience, his music carries an emotional honesty that's rare in modern pop. I keep coming back to that voice, and I think it has staying power.
