Cho Yi-hyun

Cho Yi-hyun is one of those actors who sneaks up on you — you start a show for someone else and end up completely won over by her. Her turn as the cheerful, guitar-playing med student in Hospital Playlist was genuinely charming, but it was All of Us Are Dead that made me sit up and pay attention; she held her own in a relentless zombie survival scenario and brought real emotional weight to every scene. Born in 1999 and already this composed on screen — she trained at the prestigious Hanlim Multi Art School and Kyung Hee University, so the craft is clearly there. I'm curious to see whether she pushes into darker or more complex territory, because the range she's already shown suggests she can handle just about anything thrown at her.
