Hannah Murray

Hannah Murray fascinates me precisely because she balanced a Cambridge education with acting, and that intelligence quietly shapes her performances. Her Cassie in Skins remains hauntingly fragile, and her Gilly in Game of Thrones grew from timid to quietly resilient over many seasons. What strikes me is her restraint: she reportedly stepped back from acting rather than chasing every role, which feels like a rare kind of self-possession. I respect performers who treat their careers as choices rather than compulsions, and Murray's understated, thoughtful presence is exactly the sort of talent I find myself rooting for.
