Hannah Simone won me over as Cece on New Girl, where her timing lifted every scene she was in. Born in Hatfield and educated at the University of British Columbia, she has that internationally raised ease that translates well to comedy, the kind of relaxed, lived-in funniness you can't fake. Moving from modeling into acting, she clearly understands rhythm and restraint, and her involvement in causes hints at someone with substance beyond the punchlines.
