My Take
Jack Wilshere remains one of football's bittersweet what-ifs for me. Arsenal's youngest league debutant at sixteen, PFA Young Player of the Year at nineteen, he had the vision and balance to anchor England's midfield for a generation. Injuries stole most of that future, and watching a gifted technician fight his own body was genuinely painful. I always loved that he played with brains rather than brawn at just 172 cm. Now managing Luton Town, he gets to pour the wisdom into young players that his knees never let him fully express. I am quietly rooting for him.
