My Take

What strikes me about Ji Dong-won is how far his career roamed from that Jeju starting point. He broke through young as a Korean forward, and the journey carried him all the way to Macarthur FC in Australia's A-League. At 189 cm he's built like a target striker, and I imagine that physical presence is what kept clubs interested across leagues. I'd love to know more about his quieter side, since the personal details here stay private, but the footballing arc alone tells a story of persistence.
