Josh Whitehouse

What draws me to Josh Whitehouse is his refusal to be just a pretty face. Born in 1990, he is not only an actor but a musician and artist, and that multidisciplinary instinct shows on screen. From the working-class grit of Northern Soul to the period romance of Poldark and the rock-and-roll swagger of Daisy Jones & the Six, his range is genuinely wide. Actors with real musical backgrounds tend to move with an internal rhythm, and he has it. I also appreciate that he lets the work speak rather than chasing attention. He is the kind of quietly versatile performer I find myself rooting for.
