My Take
Kenney Jones is one of those drummers I admire precisely because he never grandstands. Holding down the beat for Small Faces, Faces and then The Who is no small feat, and his steady, unfussy timekeeping is exactly what made those bands swing. The 2012 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction felt overdue to me.
