My Take

Kim Dong-hee is one of those young Korean actors who showed up quietly and then absolutely floored you before you even realized what was happening. I first noticed him in Sky Castle — he was playing a supporting role among a cast of seasoned adults, and yet he held his own completely. Then Itaewon Class came along and he brought genuine depth to a character that could have easily been a one-note villain's sidekick. But for me, Extracurricular on Netflix is where he really proved himself: the role demanded moral ambiguity and a kind of hollow-eyed intensity that a lot of actors twice his age couldn't pull off. Born in 1999, trained properly through arts high school and Gachon University, this guy is still in his mid-twenties and already has a filmography most would envy. I'm genuinely curious what direction he takes next.
