Kim Si-eun

Kim Si-eun won me over with Next Sohee, where she carried a heavy, quietly devastating role with remarkable restraint for someone so young. What strikes me about her is the subtraction in her acting, the ability to convey a great deal by showing very little. Her turn in Squid Game's second season pushed her onto a global stage, but I suspect her real strength is the slow-burning intensity that doesn't shout for attention. Actors with that kind of interior control tend to have long, durable careers. I'm genuinely curious to see which role she'll use to gut me next.
