Lauren Bennett

I have a soft spot for performers who cross oceans to chase a sound, and Lauren Bennett fits that mold. Leaving Kent to join an American girl group, then orbiting the Pussycat Dolls and LMFAO scenes, took real nerve. Her feature on Party Rock Anthem put her voice on a global number-one, yet I suspect most listeners never learned her name. That anonymity inside a massive hit fascinates me. As a singer, dancer, and model, she was the kind of versatile professional pop quietly runs on, and her death in May 2026 at 36 came far too soon. I respect the craft it takes to be everywhere and uncredited.
