Nam Joo-hyuk

I first noticed Nam Joo-hyuk in Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo and immediately got it — there's something disarmingly genuine about the way he plays earnest, warm-hearted guys that never tips into saccharine. Starting as a model with that 187 cm frame, he could have coasted on looks alone, but he kept pushing into meatier roles, and Twenty-Five Twenty-One in 2022 really showed the range he'd been quietly building. He's the kind of actor where you forget he's acting, which is honestly harder than it sounds. Still feels like he's a few roles away from a true breakout on the international stage, and I'm genuinely curious where he lands next.
