My Take
Scott Speedman is an actor I've followed since Felicity, where his Ben Covington was the brooding heartthrob of late-90s teen TV. Born in London but very much a Canadian talent, raised in Toronto, he's quietly built a varied career that I respect. The Underworld films gave him a genre fanbase as Michael, and his long run as Baz on Animal Kingdom showed off a grittier, more dangerous side I really enjoyed. He's never chased megastardom, which somehow makes his work feel more honest. More recently Grey's Anatomy reintroduced him to a whole new audience, and he's still got that steady, magnetic presence.

He is known for portraying Ben Covington in the coming-of-age drama television series Felicity, Lycan–Vampire hybrid Michael Corvin in the gothic horror–action Underworld films, and Barry "Baz" Blackwell in the TNT crime drama series Animal Kingdom.
