Sebastián Abreu

Sebastián Abreu, El Loco, is one of football's great wanderers, and I mean that as the highest compliment. A 193 cm Uruguayan striker, he became famous as much for his audacity as his goals, and anyone who's watched South American football knows the nickname was earned honestly. He's since moved into management, including a stint coaching Mexican side Tijuana, which fits the restless personality. I love players like this who treat the game as an adventure rather than a career ladder. Whether he's scoring outrageous penalties or building a touring resume across clubs, Abreu has always felt unmistakably himself on the pitch.
