My Take
Maniscalco is, to me, one of the most physically inventive comedians working today. His act turns the small irritations of everyday life into full-body theater, and there's a real craftsman's discipline beneath the chaos. I love that he leans into his Italian-American upbringing and his years waiting tables rather than running from them. What seals it for me is the crossover into acting with credibly weighty roles in Green Book and The Irishman. Plenty of comics try the dramatic pivot and stumble; he made it look natural, which tells me his timing and presence run deeper than the laughs.
