My Take

I came to Nicholas Braun the way most people did, through Cousin Greg on Succession, and I think it's one of the great supporting performances of recent television. His Greg was the show's nervous comic conscience, towering and hapless, and the three Emmy nominations from 2018 to 2023 confirm it wasn't an accident. What I appreciate is that he played dim without ever condescending to the character. Born in Bethpage, New York in 1988 and an Occidental College man, he built a long résumé before Succession made him a name. I'm curious where he goes once the shadow of that role finally lifts.
