Sohee

What I respect most about Sohee is the decisiveness of her pivot. Walking away from the spotlight of Wonder Girls to rebuild herself as a serious actress took real nerve, and her turn in Train to Busan proved it was no vanity move. Former idols often get boxed in by their past, but she has quietly insisted on being judged as an actor. A Seoul native educated at Kyung Hee, she strikes me as someone who plays the long game rather than chasing easy fame, and I find that quietly admirable and worth watching.
