Tanishaa

What I find most compelling about Tanishaa is the weight she carried simply by being born into the Mukherjee-Samarth family, daughter of Tanuja and younger sister of Kajol. To pursue acting under that kind of shadow takes a stubborn kind of courage. It would have been easy to be defined entirely by comparison, yet she built a career on her own single name. I respect performers who refuse to be diminished by their lineage and keep working anyway. There is a quiet resilience in that path, and I genuinely root for actors who choose to walk it rather than retreat from it.
