Willy Adames is the kind of player I genuinely enjoy following. A shortstop out of Santiago Province in the Dominican Republic, he debuted with the Rays in 2018, passed through Milwaukee, and landed with the San Francisco Giants. His defense is solid, but what wins me over is the infectious energy he brings to a clubhouse. There is a joy in how many Dominican players approach the game, and Adames radiates it.
