Zeeko Zaki

Zeeko Zaki interests me because of what his career represents. Born in Alexandria, Egypt, raised in the United States from one month old and briefly a Temple University student, he landed a leading role as Special Agent OA Zidan on CBS's FBI, which is no small feat for an Arab-American actor in a landscape that too often reduces such characters to caricature. What I respect is the warmth and steadiness he brings, refusing the stereotype and insisting on a fully human portrayal. There is a calm gravitas to him that suggests he is only getting started. I would bet on him growing into something considerably bigger over the next decade.
