My Take
Haim Saban is a fascinating study in reinvention. Born in Alexandria in 1944, Israeli and American, he built a fortune that crosses music, television, finance, and media, the kind of self-made arc you don't see plotted so cleanly very often. To me the throughline is instinct for what audiences want before they know it, the same nose that turns a songwriter into a media proprietor worth billions. The 2017 Walk of Fame star reads as the entertainment industry acknowledging one of its quieter power players. I respect builders who stay hands-on across wildly different businesses; that range suggests curiosity, not just appetite, and curiosity is what keeps moguls relevant.
