My Take

What strikes me about Albert is how he's one of those rare aristocrats who actually went and did something with his name. Born into the Thurn und Taxis fortune in Regensburg in 1983, he could have coasted on the title alone, but instead he built a career as a race car driver and competed seriously on the track. I find that contrast fascinating: a German prince with a string of chivalric orders to his name, also strapping into a cockpit. The University of Edinburgh education and the businessman side round out a picture of someone navigating old-world status and modern ambition at once. He's a genuinely intriguing figure to me.
