Aled Jones

Aled Jones fascinates me less for the angelic boyhood voice that made Walking in the Air a 1985 hit than for what he did afterward. Plenty of child stars vanish when their gift literally changes pitch, but Jones reinvented himself as a polished BBC, ITV and Classic FM presenter, an MBE-honoured second act that proves real durability. I admire performers who treat a single famous moment as a foundation rather than a ceiling. That adaptability earns my genuine respect.
