My Take

Allison Mack is one of the hardest figures in this database for me to write about. As Chloe Sullivan on Smallville, she was the warm, quick-witted heart of the show—proof that a supporting player can carry a series' conscience. Then came NXIVM, and a fall as complete as any in modern Hollywood. I don't think the later wrongdoing erases the earlier craft, but it forces an uncomfortable question about how charisma and need can be exploited, and can exploit. I keep her entry here as a record of both halves: real talent, real harm, and a cautionary tale worth remembering honestly.
