Anna Murashige

Okay, Anna Murashige is the kind of person who short-circuits every assumption you ever had about idols. I always pictured idols as smiley, gracefully waving from a distance, and then here she comes, talking a mile a minute, no filter, no off switch, the human equivalent of leaving every light in the house on. She earned her stripes in HKT48 with that blunt, hilarious chatter, but honestly it's after she pivoted to YouTube that she really clicked into place, like a fish finally dropped back in water. Born out in tiny Waki in Yamaguchi, with a Russian mom in the mix, she's got this striking look paired with bottomless, uncalculated energy. I just love people who run on pure vibe instead of strategy; she's exhausting in the best way and somehow leaves me with more energy than I started with.
