Angela Sarafyan

Angela Sarafyan is one of those actors who can do more with a glance than most can do with a monologue. Born in Yerevan, Armenia and eventually landing in Hollywood — where she even attended a magnet high school in Los Angeles — her journey alone tells you something about her drive. She had a string of indie film roles in the late 2000s, but for me the real revelation was Westworld, where she played Clementine with this haunting, porcelain stillness that somehow felt more human than half the human characters on the show. She has that rare quality of drawing you in without demanding your attention, and I think she's genuinely underused in most of what Hollywood has thrown at her. Fingers crossed the right role is still out there waiting for her.
