My Take
Antara Mali strikes me as one of those Bombay cinema figures whose curiosity outran the spotlight. Plenty of actors stay in front of the lens, but she stepped behind it too, directing and writing, and that hunger to control the whole story earns my respect. Working across Hindi, Malayalam, and Telugu films shows a flexibility many never attempt. I also admire performers who walk away on their own terms rather than clinging to fame. Her quieter, self-directed arc reads less like a fade-out and more like someone who chose exactly when to step aside.
