My Take
Anthony Andrews is, to me, forever Sebastian Flyte from Brideshead Revisited, a performance so defining that it won him both a Golden Globe and a BAFTA and an Emmy nomination. There's a particular kind of refined Englishness he brought to that role that I think few actors could match. The tagline calling him American is simply incorrect, since he's an Englishman born in Finchley. Decades later he was part of the ensemble behind The King's Speech, sharing in a Screen Actors Guild cast award in 2011. I appreciate that his career has stretched across television, film and stage without losing that distinctive poise.
