Asha Negi

Asha Negi strikes me as one of Indian television's reliable forces. Coming from Dehradun, she built her name in Hindi serials, most notably as Purvi in Pavitra Rishta, before stretching into edgier web work like Baarish. What I appreciate is the range of risk she's willing to take: pairing soap-opera longevity with a stint on the brutal reality stunt show Khatron Ke Khiladi shows grit alongside acting chops. Performers who can carry both the emotional weight of daily drama and the physical demands of competition tend to have staying power, and I'd bet on hers.
