Ayliva

What strikes me most about Ayliva is how fast and how far she has climbed. Breaking into the German charts in 2021, topping them in 2023, and taking the MTV Europe Music Award for Best German Act in 2024 is a remarkable trajectory for an artist still in her twenties. As a singer-songwriter from Recklinghausen with Turkish roots, she represents a fresh, multicultural voice in German pop, and I find that backstory compelling. I am genuinely curious to see whether she breaks beyond the German-speaking market. To me she feels like an artist whose best work may still be ahead of her.
