My Take
Jalen Carter is, to me, a genuine force-of-nature story. A 191 cm defensive tackle out of Apopka, Florida, he was a unanimous All-American at Georgia and a two-time national champion before the Eagles took him ninth overall in 2023. Interior defensive line is the least glamorous job in football and often the most decisive, the work that wrecks an offense from the inside out. I have real time for players who excel in those thankless trenches. His playful 'Breadman' handle gives him a human touch I enjoy. I am betting he becomes a cornerstone of the NFL's next era.
