Bambie Thug

What draws me to Bambie Thug is their refusal to be boxed in. Coining a term like "ouija-pop" out of pure frustration with genre labels is the kind of stubborn self-belief I genuinely admire. Coming from Macroom in County Cork and turning heartbreak, witchcraft, and addiction into unflinching songs takes real courage. I think the most interesting artists are the ones who build their own vocabulary because the existing one fails them, and Bambie does exactly that. There's something honest in that defiance, and I find myself rooting for an outsider who insists on inventing their own lane.
