My Take
Okay, I'll admit it: Meruru just makes me smile. She came up as a fashion-magazine model, which usually means glossy and a little untouchable, but the second she landed on variety TV she turned into this sunny, goofy, impossible-to-dislike presence, and that pivot is way harder than she makes it look. What I really respect is that she didn't just coast on being the cheerful one. She actually went and learned to act, popping up in dramas and holding her own, so now she's juggling model, TV personality, and actress like it's no big deal. A girl from Inazawa in Aichi who quietly became a name everyone knows. That warmth is a genuine talent, and honestly, watching her just lowers my shoulders a little. I'm a fan.
