Borna Sosa

I have a soft spot for attacking full-backs, and Borna Sosa fits the mold I enjoy watching. Coming out of Prečko in Croatia and now playing left-back or wing-back for Köln on loan from Crystal Palace, as well as for the national team, he occupies one of the most demanding roles on the pitch, asked to defend and attack across the whole flank. Born in 1998, he still has room to grow, and I think the best version of him is yet to come. Players who shoulder that thankless up-and-down work rarely get headlines, which is exactly why I want to give him credit.
