My Take

What stays with me about Dávid Ďuriš is the geography of his ambition. A forward from Žilina in Slovakia who packed up and went to play for Rosenborg in Norway's Eliteserien is not chasing comfort. At 186 cm and born in 1999, he had time and reasons to stay in familiar leagues, yet he chose a colder, less obvious stage to make himself indispensable up front.
