David Neres

Neres is pure entertainment in my book. Forged in São Paulo's youth system, he broke out at Ajax and now lights up Serie A with Napoli. There is a distinctly Brazilian rhythm to his dribbling, a looseness in the hips that turns defenders inside out, and at 175 cm he relies on balance and timing rather than power. I gravitate toward wingers who prioritize delighting the crowd over textbook caution, and he plays exactly that way. As long as he keeps cutting in fearlessly, he will remain one of the most watchable attackers around.
