My Take

Emerick Setiano plays prop, which to me is the most thankless and honorable job in rugby. While the backs chase the glory, the front row absorbs the raw collision of the scrum, and doing it in the brutal Top 14 with Bayonne means he is holding his own at the highest level of French rugby. I have always gravitated toward players who do the unseen grunt work that lets a team function, and a prop quietly anchoring the pack embodies exactly that ethic. Born in 1996, he is still in his prime, and I would love to see this Angers-born grinder keep digging in at the coalface for years to come.
