Naohito Fujiki

Okay, I have to ask: why does Naohito Fujiki refuse to age? It's almost rude. The man is six feet of effortless charm with a face that's been disarmingly handsome since the late '90s, and somehow he just keeps looking like that. What I love is the lack of ego around it. He's a Waseda grad who never once seems to wave that diploma in your face, and whether he's acting or singing he carries this easy, shoulders-down naturalness that makes everything feel unforced. Since picking up that 2002 newcomer award he's just quietly stacked good work, no messy tabloid drama, more craftsman than celebrity. There's something deeply trustworthy about a guy who stays this fresh-faced and this steady for this long. I'm a fan without even meaning to be.
