Fahadh Faasil

Fahadh Faasil is, to me, one of those actors connoisseurs treasure before the wider world catches on. Rooted in Alappuzha and devoted to Malayalam and Tamil cinema, he has built a reputation for disappearing into wildly different roles rather than coasting on star wattage. His National Film Award for Best Supporting Actor signals the kind of generous, character-first instinct I admire. In an industry often dominated by spectacle, performers like him keep the craft honest. I find his choices genuinely intriguing, and I suspect his international reputation will keep growing as more viewers discover regional Indian cinema.
